A major U.S.-based oil and gas manufacturer required protective gloves capable of operating in extreme environments, withstanding temperatures from −20°C to above 50°C. The gloves needed to deliver maximum impact protection while maintaining comfort, dexterity, and long-term performance.

Traditional protective solutions proved too bulky, stiff, and fatiguing for extended use.

Solution

After observing the proven real-world performance of FlexShock™ technology, the manufacturer partnered with Penrotek to develop a fabric-integrated protective solution.

Penrotek conducted targeted research and development to adapt FlexShock™ for textile applications. Using advanced 3D design and proprietary manufacturing processes, FlexShock™ was printed directly onto fabric, eliminating the need for stitching or inserts.

Level 3 impact protection, the highest level offered within Penrotek’s system, engineered for high-risk, heavy-impact environments without compromising flexibility or comfort.
